New Year, New Freek

That's right everyone; the new year is upon us. In order to celebrate 365 more days of being able to play amazing games as a part of one of the most awesome communities, we came up with a list of things we want to do before the year's end then capped it off with 5 predictions for what we think will happen this year in gaming. 

Our 2019 New Year's Gaming Checklist

• Create a Smash Bros. Mii fighter of everyone in our office and have them all fight each other. Aka the KontrolFreek Battle Royale

• Successfully Predict what the next Assassin's Creed game will be about

• Save money in legal fees by not playing Overcooked 2 with our significant others

• Spend a full 24 hours in VR Chat

• Don't let the 9 year olds on Fortnite chat get to us even though what they're saying is so hurtful. 

• Mod Halo 5 to have 12 player split screen

• Give No Man's Sky another chance

• Get Billy West or Tom Hanks to make a cameo on our Twitch stream. 

• Get at least one person to attempt to use KontrolFreek Thumbsticks as actual currency

• Let's not get this bread, instead let's yeet this wheat

• Figure out just what the hell a 120hz refresh rate actually does for gaming

• Teach Ninja how to Floss

• Get Anderson Cooper to play Yasuhati

• Convince Valve's game development to rise out of its grave and make a new Left 4 Dead game

5 Predictions

• Death stranding is a holiday game

• Reggie Fils-Aime will finally land a starring role in a movie as the Rock's estranged father

• Kingdom Hearts 3 will include Star Wars and Marvel references

• The Last of Us 2 will be delayed until Holiday or Q1 2020

• The Nintendo Switch will get a refresh with new hardware
